Pyranarith Class - Kiiaya by Waylien Pyranarith Class - Kiiaya by Waylien

A Chyrithian medium range intergalactic ship. Another alien wonder that can thumb her nose at Einstein and misinformed Earth physicists, she can achieve lightspeed X 10 to the 20th power. She's 180 ft long with a range of 35 million light years and a crew of eight. She has no landing gear. Her ability to alter the constant of gravity allows her to float above a surface forever. Power is by two interphasic assimilators with a combined maximum output of 435 megawatts.

Essentially Kiiaya is a sentient robot, and Rhytha's favorite ride and friend. Her body is a deep teal form of sheet energy with a golden opalescence. Its in this ship that Rhytha performed her first Terran Guardian operation by "nudging" the asteroid Apophis from a collision course with Earth in 2003. Saving mankind a lot of consternation and grief. She did this while behind the sun to avoid alerting Earth's astronomers to her presence.

Stationed on Orionis, she can carry out recon missions on Earth and elsewhere on her own. Once the Guardians were curious of what the Pentagon was up to. In a Tachyon translated state she invisibly scanned them from the parking lot! Her "eyes" collecting data on millions of channels, reading the ink density in file cabinets, magnetic data in hard drives, even shredded and burned documents by matching their molecules. Tachyons don't interact with matter and if she wanted she can drift through the walls for a closer look. Her Photopsionic brain can even read thoughts and store them in her 700 Geopbyte memory for later study.

Rhytha visits her often, sometimes just for joy rides with her colleagues and to play games. Kiiaya can play a mean game of Kinbira or Chess!

I was listening to "crystal ship" by the Doors a little too often, methinks.

This is the first digital drawing I've done freehand by drawing directly into the computer with a tablet.

Me too! There's never enough of the living type starships to satisfy me so I made some. Thanks for the watch BTW.

35 million light years? That's pretty long range for such a small ship...

The ships range is dependent on how certain hyperdrive components hold up under the intense wear of Tachyon Space travel without need for replacement, rather than any restraint of Relativity. Since their ships draw power from Tachyon space itself, other types of Chyrithian ships can travel even farther, faster.

Thanks you very much! The background was generated by Zummerfish and she has a collection available for any space projects you might have. A link to her DA page is above.

I like how it turned out too. It's not your typical Hollywood flying junkyard starship for sure. Thanks!
